2007 B-17 Texas Raiders corrosion repair and major maintenance.
During 2007 we discovered more corrosion than we care to think about. The Vertical stabilizer had to be drilled (rows of rivets) to remove the corrosion. It was everywhere. At this point we had spent nearly $400,000 on the restoration, but at least we had a hangar in which we could work.
